As most of you are aware the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone, and as such, the South Devon Railway has cancelled all events until further notice. Furthermore, the SDR has temporarily suspended all volunteer working parties until the correct protocol is in place. once reviewed, we intend to resume working parties as soon as possible as there is much to do.

A time lapse video of the stripping of the engine from D402 can now be founfd in the members' area for all to view. Should you wish to help, you'll need to become an active volunteer and contact the membership secretary through these pages in the first instance and then either Jon Morton or Karl Atkinson once you become a member. A recently introduced policy for the South Devon Railway requires all working members to hold a work permit, volunteers will not be allowed to work if they don't possess one of these, they include your HOPS number etc and application forms are available from the 'white house' located at Buckfastleigh.

All that remains for me is to thank you for your continued support in whatever way to the DDS through these difficult times.
